Garrity Overpass nighttime repair work starts week of June 18
BOISE - Nighttime repair work will start the week of June 18 on a Garrity Overpass girder that was damaged by an over-height vehicle, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The work is scheduled to last three nights. The center lanes on Garrity Boulevard below Interstate 84 will close during the nighttime hours for the work. The lanes will be open during the day, and there will be no impacts to traffic on Interstate 84.
Motorists exiting Interstate 84 at the eastbound and westbound off-ramps at night will be directed by flaggers if they are making a left-hand turn onto Garrity Boulevard.
