Highway maintenance operations to begin today on ID-31
SWAN VALLEY - The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) will begin routine maintenance operations with crews crack sealing and dura patching potholes on ID-31 beginning Today (May 12th).
Highway 31 from Swan Valley to Victor will undergo crews dura-patching pot holes and crack sealing operations, which is a much needed maintenance operation that helps preserve the roadways to aid in the prevention of further erosion.
As operations proceed, maintenance crews will setup temporary intermittent traffic control. Traffic control will entail temporary single lane closures that will include a flagger and reduced speed limits. Motorists should anticipate and watch for reduced speeds, flaggers and crews working. Traffic control will be setup briefly to ensure minimal impacts to the traveling public.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down and pay attention when traveling through the work zone.
Highway maintenance operations are expected to be completed by the end of May. Please visit 511.Idaho.gov for current road updates.
