Overnight closure planned on I-84 in Canyon County Friday night
CALDWELL – The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) asks drivers to plan ahead for delays and an overnight closure this Friday, June 3 on Interstate 84 between the Franklin Road and Karcher Road exits, as work continues to widen I-84 through Caldwell and Nampa.
What to expect:
• Eastbound I-84 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday while crews pour concrete for the Ustick Overpass. Motorists will be detoured to Nampa-Caldwell Boulevard. Click here for detour map.
• Westbound I-84 will remain open, but traffic will be delayed for up to 15 minutes between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. while crews repair an overhead utility line. Idaho State Police will lead traffic through the work zone.
