State Highway 21 from Idaho City to Lowman Closed due to heavy snow fall
LOWMAN -- The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has closed State Highway 21 from Idaho City to Lowman because of predicted heavy snow fall.
ITD’s Maintenance crews will continue to monitor the situation. The highway will reopen when weather conditions have improved, and the risk to drivers is reduced.
Motorists should take SH-55 to Banks and then turn toward Garden Valley to reach Lowman.
Updates on closures and openings will be posted on 511.idaho.gov. Future closures will be announced on Idaho 511 and ITD's Twitter account.
