Paving operation on Blue Lakes Wednesday through Friday TWIN FALLS - All local and through traffic is urged to find an alternate route away from Blue Lakes Boulevard the rest of this week as a milling and paving operation will reduce the number of lanes from four to two beginning Wednesday, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
ITD construction crews will begin milling the roadway between Falls Avenue and North College Road (mileposts48.46 to 48.93) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8. Paving will take place on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 9 and 10 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
One lane will be open to traffic in each direction during work hours with limited access to businesses throughout the paving operation. Drivers are urged to use an alternate route when accessing businesses and for traveling through the area.
