Postponed: New I-84 lanes between Caldwell in Nampa will open when weather permits
CALDWELL- The Idaho Transportation Department has postponed the opening of the new lanes on I-84 between Franklin Road (Exit 29) in Caldwell and Karcher Road (Exit 33) in Nampa due to wet roads and cold temperatures overnight. The lanes will open when conditions allow construction crews to stripe the roadway.
ITD cannot safely open the new lanes until the stripes are placed on the roadway. The Facebook Live event will still take place at midnight.
The community will be notified as soon as the lanes open. To
