DMV County Leadership Conference draws
nearly 170 employees, 38 counties

Developing a DMV County Leaders Course, standardized measurement metrics for county offices, and recognizing additional Star Card educational tools were some of the action items resulting from last month’s DMV County Leadership Conference in Meridian.

Total attendance at the conference was 168, with 106 county employees and 62 DMV employees and guests. In all, 38 of Idaho’s 44 counties were represented at the conference.

“I want to thank the participants for actively engaging and sharing ideas on how we can improve service to each other and our customers,” DMV Administrator Alberto Gonzalez said. “The lessons learned at this conference will create a winning culture of communication, collaboration and best practices that will make both the DMV and counties better.”
Participants evaluating the conference rated it “very good” to “excellent.”
