open and seeking entries

WTS of Southwest Idaho is seeking nominations for the chapter's 2019 Recognition Awards. The awards categories are:

· Member of the Year*: Recognizes a WTS member who has made extraordinary contributions to the organization's success.

· Woman of the Year: Honors a woman who is a leader in transportation, an outstanding role model, and has contributed to the advancement of women and minorities in transportation. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/20WTSWOM

· Ray LaHood Award (Man of the Year): Named for former U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, this award honors a man who has been key to WTS' efforts to attract, retain, and advance women in transportation.

· Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award: Honors an individual exhibiting extraordinary efforts or initiatives in facilitating professional opportunities for women and minorities. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/20WTSROS

· Employer of the Year: Recognizes a business, agency or organization in the Southwest Idaho region for its support of the goals and purpose of WTS. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WTS20EMP

· Innovative Transportation Solutions: Honors an innovative transportation project or service led by a woman and involving women.

* Nominees for Member of the Year must be WTS members; however, membership is not required to receive an award in the other categories.

1. Nominations must meet the criteria stated on each nomination form.
