Reminder: Safety Stand Down
— Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020 —

This year's Safety Stand Down is quickly approaching! It is slated for Wednesday, September 30. There will be two afternoon sessions for all employees. You should have seen a "Save the Date" type of calendar request in the last few days that shows the time slot for each particular district and division along with the link to attend.

Here are the instructions

The groups will be divided up as such on September 30:

District 1, 2, 5, and 6 will be at 1 p.m.-1:45 p.m. MST
D1 EOC
D2 North Conference Room
D5 Large Annex Conference Room
D6 EOC

District 3, 4, and HQ will be at 2 p.m.-2:45 p.m. MST
D3 Large Conference Room
D4 Shoshone EOC
D4 Twin Falls Conference Room
HQ Auditorium
HQ 212 Conference Room

We will be doing this via a virtual platform this year, focusing on the best practices we developed to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic and the "new normal" we have identified in our work areas.

We will be providing discussion leaders to guide us through each topic area. We'll be recording the sessions, then we'll post the best one.

The event really is geared toward employee safety and the sharing of best practices. Please be prepared to share with your group any new norms you have implemented in your work areas relating to COVID-19.

If you have any questions about the time of your event on September 30, or have questions about the event itself, please contact either Safety Stand Down Team lead Jesse Barrus, or Michelle Cobler and Eddie Martinez, the WebEx gurus.

This can be fun and still convey important information. This is about keeping us, our loved ones, and our co-workers safe.

The Safety Stand Down will feature the all-employee afternoon WebEx sessions, but also has a day-long agenda geared toward employees involved in work zones:
