ITD, Innovative Company of the Year finalist, unveils top ideas of 2016
The Idaho Transportation Department was honored as a 2016 Innovative Company of the Year finalist by the Idaho Technology Council Oct. 25 in Boise. No other state public-service agency has ever been a finalist in the category, typically reserved for private-sector firms. ITD also unveiled its "Best of the Best" Innovations of 2016.

Gold Fork River Bridge replacement nears completion south of Donnelly
A design-build process was used to fast track the replacement of the Gold Fork River Bridge on Idaho 55 south of Donnelly. The bridge opened to traffic on Oct. 14 — designed and built in just six months — on schedule and under budget.

Healy wins award for worldwide membership growth
Sandra Healy, a principal auditor in our Office of Internal Review, recently received a national award from the Association of Government Accountants (AGA). This award, for overall membership growth, joins the award Healy received last year for national recruitment efforts.

The Pocatello Unitarian Universalist Fellowship recently got into the Halloween spirit while completing their mid-October litter pick up on a two-mile stretch of Interstate 15 about 10 miles south of Inkom.
