Community partners in saving lives honored at Donate Life event in Boise April 12
Idaho has consistently been one of the top states in the nation when it comes to saying yes to saving lives. These achievements are due in large part to hard work and collaboration.
New ITD water fountains have already saved 10,000 bottles
Five new water fountains were installed at the main ITD Headquarters complex in Boise starting in January. They have already saved 10,000 bottles, and eliminated iron, chlorine and dirt particles from the water to improve health for employees.
2018 Legislative session is in the books!
The 2018 legislative session officially adjourned sine die March 28, bringing an end to an 11½ week, 80-day session. This proved to be an impactful session for transportation and transportation policy across the state
New employee onboarding takes "next steps"
One of the teams at ITD's Leadership Summit last fall tackled the issue of onboarding for new employees. With 25% of employees being new since January 2016, there is a need to standardize the experience of those first few formative days.
