Trek Pallister, in ITD’s Operations, created a railing to enhance the safety of employees filling the 1,000-gallon water tank (daily during friction testing) or performing maintenance.

McCurdy, Serrano win District 6 equipment roadeo
Stacey McCurdy, Arco maintenance, won the District 6 Equipment Roadeo in the Sugar City maintenance yard May 17. Camilo Serrano, Dubois maintenance, won first place in the foreman/engineer/transportation technician-engineering category.

ACE Academy June 12-15 will include teacher's STEM "Living Lab"
For the last quarter century, Idaho's Division of Aeronautics has presented an Aviation Career Exploration (ACE) Academy for Idaho high school students early each summer. This year, they are taking it a step further.

Work on I-84 bridges in Elmore and Gooding will continue through summer
Drivers along I-84 should watch for maintenance work and resurfacing on 15 bridges at 13 locations between Glenns Ferry and Wendell. The work will impact traffic throughout the summer.
