Meeting Expectations
More timely reporting of Idaho crashes helps meet public and media expectations
For years, there existed a lag time between when crash reporting ended and when the final summary of the period was available to the public and media, creating frustration for those who wanted more immediate and up-to-date reports upon which to base current decisions. Highway Safety staff have solved that problem.

Highway Safety
Seat belt effort results in more than 1,200 citations issued and safety message reinforced
In just two weeks early in August, approximately 1,265 citations were issued for seat belt violations during a statewide seat belt mobilization effort as more cars return to the roads.
