Steidel keeps the Headquarters' lobby merry and bright          

A sense of welcome and warmth is achieved every holiday season in the ITD Headquarters' lobby through the decorating efforts of DMV Technical Record Specialist Annette Steidel. Annette has decorated the beautiful Christmas tree and lobby for more than 12 years.

"Visitors and employees often say how lovely the lobby looks during the holidays," Headquarters' Office Specialist Sherry Buwalda said.

Annette decorates and undecorates the tree and lobby each year, and purchases ornaments and decorations with her own money to replace those broken or lost.

"It's my way of contributing to a festive and fun holiday at ITD," Steidel said.

Steidel said the lobby Christmas tree was donated two years ago by DMV Administrative Assistant Becky Showman after the ITD tree was damaged. Becky purchased decorations as well.
