ITD, Crider honored as longtime WTS partners at recent gala

Contracting Services Engineer Monica Crider, P.E., and the Idaho Transportation Department were each honored for sustained involvement and advocacy of the Women in Transportation Seminars (WTS) group at the organization’s annual SW Idaho chapter awards event Feb. 22.

Crider, a 19-year department veteran who has served in a number of positions within WTS for the last decade, is currently the chapter representative to the Northwest Regional Council. She has served on the WTS Board in some fashion since almost the very beginning. ITD has been an agency partner for about six years now.

“Monica has been an instrumental part of the success of WTS in Southwest Idaho, and a big reason we are able to celebrate our 10th anniversary as a local Chapter, and will continue to grow and advance women in transportation in Idaho,” said Dave Butzier, Programs Chair.

“She is always looking for ways to reach more folks and get them involved, so they can benefit from what WTS has to offer.”
