as performance process is streamlined in TalentED

We have completed the first annual performance review cycle in TalentED, and ITD continues to improve Performance Hub functionality and promote employee adoption. The next step will occur within the next six months, as TalentED—ITD's system for managing and tracking employee performance—fully replaces forms ITD 1100 and 1111.

As we complete this transirion, please be aware of the follwing:  

- Employees with a new hire start date or promotion date prior to July 1, 2018 will complete a probationary evaluation using form ITD 1100. Those with a start/promotion date on or after July 1, 2018 will complete their probationary evaluation in TalentED.

- The "Safety" and "Constructive Behaviors" components will be added as goals in TalentED to allow for ongoing employee input within the system. These goals will be automatically added to all performance plans in the coming weeks.

- The "Adherence to Policy" component will be included as a part of the Performance Standard Goal.

- Evaluations not completed by the overall due date will require extension approval by executive management.  

ACTION ITEMS:
Employees not in career paths should start working with managers now to identify and enter four goals for the new fiscal year:

Performance Standard Goal – Accomplishes work that is dependable and consistently meets day-to-day performance expectations and adheres to policy
Development Goal – Gains additional knowledge or learns a new skill/ability
Impact Goal (x2) – Has a significant impact on the organizational mission

Career-path goals will be available in the Goal Library in TalentED after the first week of August.
