Using Outlook to better manage a limited resource:
Your Time

At ITD, we are hurrying so fast.  Each of us is running – usually at maximum capacity – getting numerous amazing things done every day.  Sometimes it can be overwhelming. When that happens (or before), it helps to have tools to better manage our workload.  The "Time Management with Outlook" class was created to help make the most of your time.

In the class, we discuss such topics as:
- Reactive vs Proactive tasks
- Multitasking
- Attention Management
- Creating Goals
- Prioritization Techniques
- Parkinson’s Law
- Time Boxing

We also work with Outlook, discussing the fastest, most efficient ways to utilize the program.  (There are also five other classes that focus just on Outlook. You can request them in the Learning Hub.)

Outlook can monopolize our time – especially email and calendar items. After you learn to accomplish what you need in the fastest way possible, you will spend less time in Outlook and more time on the other things you need to do in your day.

For Headquarters and District 3, we have the following classes available now, with more on the way:

October 23 - 8:30 a.m. to Noon
November 29 - 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
December 5 - 8:30 a.m. to Noon

Click here to sign up for a session. (Click the Request button to the right of your preferred session.)

If you are not in Headquarters or District 3 and would like to take this class in your district, please contact your District Trainer.

See you in class!
