Randy Richards takes his truck
and goes home

District 5 Blackfoot Maintenance Foremen Randy Richards, who started with the department 30 years ago, took his truck (shown above) and headed home after a retirement celebration Dec. 10.

Bryce Tabor and the Blackfoot crew wanted to give Richards a retirement gift, so Bryce made the model truck above. The cab, chassis, and plow are from a stock kit and the crew made the sander and tanks from scratch.

It's a great little "thanks" for a job well done.

Richards started with ITD as a Transportation Tech Apprentice, and has served as the fireman of the Blackfoot crews since 2012.
