Gov. Otter receives "water cannon arch"
salute on final trip in King Air

On his final trip in the King Air after 12 years in office and more than 204,000 miles in the air, Idaho Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter was given a water arch salute as he touched down after his final flight, for judge interviews in Twin F alls Dec. 28.

"Gov. Otter was our most prolific flier during the 12 years he was in office," said Division of Aeronautics Administrator Mike Pape. "He flew a total of 840 hours, logged 204,000 miles and in doing so saved 2,820 hours of driving time, or in other words, 352 days of productivity."

All of Otter's flights were completed without accident or incident.
