Nutrien thanks District 5, ITD for road-clearing efforts

ITD devotes a lot of time and effort into keeping the state's roads clear of snow and ice each winter. Occasionally, there are some very satisfied customers.

This letter is from John Culligan, Territory Manager for Nutrien Solutions, a unit of Nutrien LTD, the world's largest agricultural-inputs company. They manufacture fertilizers and chemicals, supply seeds, and assist with precision agriculture.

"Just wanted you to know how much I appreciate the snowplow crew's performance in District 5 and across the state.

I spend a lot of time traveling over four states now, attending meetings and conducting sales. I travel in some pretty bad weather from time to time. I now see first-hand the difference Between ITD and the surrounding states regarding winter performance.

Gentlemen, it's not even close.

It is very comforting during a storm to know that I will be crossing the Idaho border and finding safe driving conditions.

Please pass this on to your crews. My deep appreciation for a job well done. I know first-hand the sacrifices they make so the traveling public can have safe roads to travel on."
