Entries sought for
Excellence in Transportation Awards

ITD is taking nominations for the 2019 Excellence in Transportation Awards. The due date for nominations is April 12 by 4 p.m., without exception. This gives everyone a full four weeks to gather materials, evaluate and submit entries.

This year, contest organizers are excited to introduce a new Personnel award — the Kimbol Allen Excellence in Innovation Award. It recognizes transportation department employees who have demonstrated a commitment to innovation. The award is open to all ITD employees. It recognizes an innovator, not an innovation — the Best of the Best awards each fall already honor the top innovations of the year.

There is no minimum time requirement regarding how long an employee has been with ITD. There will be more on this award in a future Transporter.
