District 4 celebrates a combined 585 years of service to the state, pays tribute to one special employee

Affectionately called "Aunt Di" by her colleagues, Diane Schlund was recognized in District 4 last week for 50 years of service with ITD. Although the landscape and even the name of the department has changed over the years, Aunt Di's commitment to both her role and her team has always remained steadfast.

Aunt Di was one of 31 D4 employees who were honored for a combined 585 years of service to the state!

Schlund is currently the second-longest-serving active employee, trailing only Terry Jacobsen and his unheard-of 60 years in District 5.
