SUBSECTION 711.20 FIBER WATTLES. 100% Biodegradable. SECTION SC-8 of the Best Management Practices Manual (BMP). See ITD Standard Drawing 212-3. 100% Biodegradable natural netting with a life expectance of approximately one year. Natural fiber netting wattles are used with revegetation, sensitive areas, and areas that attract wildlife. Diameter 8-inch to 11-inch: minimum weight of 1 pound per linear foot. Diameter greater than 11-inch: minimum weight of 3 pounds per linear foot.
Special Notes
Must be certified noxious weed-free. Ensure stakes are biodegradable and that the ends are tightly secured with biodegradable twine.
