PORTLAND – Portland-area commuters are getting a little help from a new online map.

The Oregon Department of Transportation is adding congestion information to its travel information web site.
Beginning April 29, the new online map provides color-coded segments indicating current travel speeds on Portland highways.

The three colors -- red, yellow and green – represent different average travel speeds. Red means traffic is moving at less than 25 mph, yellow is 25 to 50, and green means speeds above 50.
