Seven ITD employees who brought long and distinguished careers to a close in the last half of 2005 (July through December) were honored Thursday during the semiannual service awards ceremony at Headquarters in Boise Combined, they represented nearly two centuries (197 years) of experience, wisdom and service. Individually, they embody the service and commitment for which ITD has become known. Only two of the recent retirees left the department with less than 20 years of service; the other five committed 23 to 38 years of their lives to serving the citizens of Idaho. Among the seven, Pam Broadwater is the matriarch with 38 years. Warren Hostetler, Steven Hunt and Beverly Lockey-Pfister all retired after 35 years.
