Moore accepts position in Governmental Affairs

“I am pleased to announce that Matt Moore has accepted a position in the Governmental Affairs section, effective Monday,” ITD Deputy Director Scott Stokes said this week.

“This will allow Matt to become familiar with Governmental Affairs as we prepare for the 2011 legislative session and help us make a smooth transition. It also will allow Matt to get on board before Congress begins key discussions on transportation funding,” Stokes said.

“With federal reauthorization on the horizon, Matt’s proven talent and experience will be important to assure that Idaho and ITD receive an equitable share of funding,” ITD Director Brian Ness added.

Randy Kyrias, administrator of the Division of Public Transportation, will oversee Transportation Planning in the interim.
