Insurance
enrollment forms to be available online
The Group Insurance Office of
the Department of Administration announced this week that
Blue Cross will have an online form available to help
state employees complete the new enrollment process. The
form should be accessible from the Blue Cross web site
by the first day of open enrollment, May 1.

to Gowen project wins award for public campaign
A public involvement campaign
for an ITD corridor study recently received two awards.
The Orchard to Gowen publicity campaign received an Award
of Distinction and the campaign logo received honorable
mention from the Communicator Awards. The Award of Distinction
is the second highest level award.

In Training share experiences at conference
Aspiring
Idaho Transportation Department engineers learned from
each other and from their professional mentors last week
when they participated in the annual two-day Engineer
In Training conference in Pocatello.

public information meetings about a corridor study along
U.S. 20 were held in District 6 this week (April 14 and
15). The open-house style meetings gave residents the
opportunity to offer feedback...

Culdesac
group honored for cleanup efforts
The
Culdesac Gem Community organization has been sponsoring
She-bang Days for the past six years as a
way to generate money for community projects. Wanting
to put the best face possible on Culdesac, the group joined
the Idaho Transportation Departments Adopt-A-Highway
(AAH) program in 2003. The first-year AAH participant
was honored as the top group in District 2 today.

& crafts fair scheduled Friday, April 23
DOROLCO,
the employee organization, will sponsor its first-ever
spring arts and crafts sale Friday (April 23) in the Headquarters
Lobby. The event will include handmade arts and crafts
and quality, flea market items. the sale will
run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
