Insurance information sessions draw capacity crowds
Interest by state employees in the transition to a new health insurance provider, effective July 1, strained facilities during the first week of statewide meetings and prompted the Office of Insurance Management (OIM) to add another session in Boise Tuesday.

Open enrollment for insurance plan begins Monday
The Group Insurance Office of the Department of Administration recently announced that Blue Cross will have an online form available to help state employees complete the new enrollment process. Open enrollment begins Monday and concludes May 28.

NASA astronaut, pilot to be featured at youth academy
Astronaut and test pilot Joe Edwards this summer will give teens a firsthand account of how it feels to launch into space and test fighter jets. Edwards will be featured at the Aviation Career Education (ACE) Academy, June 28-30, sponsored by the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) Division of Aeronautics.
