U.S. 12 project at Lewiston finished well ahead of schedule
When ITD designers contemplated a schedule for reconstructing a half-mile segment of U.S. 12, they figured it would take about 70 calendar days and wrote the contract accordingly. Acme Concrete Paving of Spokane said thanks, but we’ll be in and out in far less time.

PERSI to phase in rate increase
State employees who participate in the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI) will contribute slightly more to the account beginning July 1. The rate for general member employees will increase by .37 percent, or from 5.86 percent of their gross salary to 6.23 percent.
