draft
FY
2005-2009
Statewide
Transportation
Improvement
Program
(STIP)
is

comment

August
4,

Idaho
Transportation
Department
(ITD)
announced.

program
identifies

$1
billion
in
transportation-related
projects
planned
for
construction
through
the
year
2009,
plus
those
in
preliminary
development.

Idaho's
17,000
regular
state
employees
will
get
bonus
checks
averaging
a

hundred
dollars
this
summer,
thanks

a
jump

economy

past

months.
Legislators
promised
the
across-the-board
1
percent
bonus
if
state
taxes
came
in
over
the
budget,
and
there
should
be
at
least
$11
million
left
at
the
end
of
the
fiscal
year.
