Bush sends kudos to Drivers Services
One of the reported advantages of social media is it immediacy. As this story shows, however, that¹s not always the case.
In mid-May, a message on the ITD Facebook page from Greg Bush said, "You guys are totally awesome! I have never received such professional, courteous and caring service from anywhere! Thank you for your assistance."
More information was requested, but a response from Bush wasn't sent back until this week.
"I had an awesome experience with the Idaho Transportation Department," he said. "I don¹t recall the names of the ladies that helped me, but they were awesome. They went above and beyond in assisting me with getting a drivers license matter corrected after moving to the State of California. They went to bat for me, calling the State of California on my behalf to get the issue resolved! I have never received such first-class service. I sent a thank you card to their supervisor so that she knows of how hard they are working. They are awesome!"
Bush also sent a thank you card with a hand-written message, saying "I want to thank you so much for assisting me with the California matter. I can¹t say enough how helpful the three of you were. I have never received this most exceptional service anywhere! You Rock!!"
The three Bush refers to were Brandy Ferris, Lori Rowell, and Karen Schoenhut, who he spoke to over the phone. Brenda Bengston and Vicky Fisher also facilitated the exchange by processing the driving record and faxing it to California with the information needed so that records could be updated to resolve Mr. Bush's issue.
