DEQ, IDWR to host air quality workshop
on alternative fuels, fleet management

BOISE – The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and Energy Division of the Idaho Department of Water Resources (IDWR) will host an air quality workshop on alternative fuels and fleet management in the Treasure Valley.

The workshop will be from 2 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, (March 25) at DEQ’s State Office, 1410 N. Hilton, Boise.

The workshop is designed to introduce fleet managers at government agencies, businesses, and organizations to options for improving fuel economy and protecting air quality in the valley.

Topics to be discussed include the use of alternative fuels such as biodiesel and E85 ethanol, hybrid vehicles and fleet operation and maintenance.

Attendance is free, but advance registration is requested.
