Maintaining a safe, secure, efficient workplace is essential to keeping the transportation department running smoothly and efficiently.

Employees who have specific needs related to the physical work environment should contact Facility Maintenance and Operations at Headqarters so deficiencies can be addressed.

“If you have a facility problem, Building Services can help,” said Mike Morehead. “For any facility problems or concerns, please notify Building Services by e-mail.”

Employees can search for the appropriate e-mail address in the Outlook address book.

“Just let us know what your concern is and give your name, office area and telephone number. One of our staff will call or come by to talk with you,” Morehead said.

Facility Maintenance and Operations is responsible for maintaining plumbing, electrical and heating/air conditioning systems and the building’s exterior (grounds). The office also is responsible for addressing structural damages or deficiencies and custodial (janitorial) needs.
