Three Amigos serve District 1 employees

The two Scotts and Andy stirred up smoke and browned hamburgers recently as part of a combined District 1 Roadeo and employee appreciation event. Management honored employees with a barbecue, potluck and service awards ceremony on May 20. More than 100 hamburgers and hotdogs along with "tons of roughage and lots of non-carbohydrate desserts" were consumed, reports Roberta Marolt. She said naps were optional.

The three barbecuers above (left to right) are Scotty (Chef Boyardee) Fellom, Scott (Krispy Creme) Stokes and Andy (Julia Child) Storjohann. Roadeo results will be announced after all districts have completed their respective competitions.

Cathy Koon claims four first-place honors

District 6 Public Information Specialist Cathy Koon maintained her tradition of placing well in Idaho Press Women competition this year. She recently received a first place in the specialized circulation section/supplement division, and added firsts in four-color newsletter, four-color brochure and manual or handbook.

First-place winners represent Idaho in the National Federation of Press Women's annual communications contest. Winners of that contest will be announced in September.
