ITD loses longtime friend Linda Cassera Linda Cassera, who spent most of her professional career at the Idaho Transportation Department Headquarters in Boise, passed away May 29 at the age of 46. Friends, family members and co-workers bid their final farewell Wednesday morning at Cloverdale Funeral Home in Boise. Lindas family publicly thanked her friends at ITD, and St. Lukes medical staff for their loving care. Linda began working at ITD as an office secretary in February 1986 and advanced to a word processing specialist in 1988. For the past 11 years, she was an administrative assistant, supporting three sections Roadway Design, Environmental and Highway Programming. She was born Dec. 5, 1957, in Portland, Ore., to John and Virginia Cassera. The family moved to Sacramento and later to Meridian where Linda graduated from high school. She studied business at Boise State University. Survivors include her mother Virginia Griffin, Boise;
sisters Diane Robinson, Eagle; Jo Capaul and husband Al, Meridian; Sherri
Brown and husband Dennis, Nampa; and many nieces, nephews, great-nephews
and other family members. Her father passed away earlier.
