Doubly welcome DMV assistance

I had let both my drivers license and registration expire, so I did a WEB search and easily found your ITD web site.

I found the addresses, phone numbers and other information I need to deal with expirations with ease. I was also pleasantly surprised to see online registration…which I will use the next time (when I'm not expired).

I went to the Meridian office, hoping for the shortest line, dreading the "take this form to that line and come back..." syndrome. When I got there I found an electronic ticket system, which put me in a line wait of less than a minute. I had a helpful friendly clerk that actually took care of both expirations without me having to get back in a line.

Imagine, paper work, eye test, cashier and photographer all rolled into one person…it couldn't be any easier…well online would be easier but since I was expired I needed it now. Which brings me to your liberal expiration policy of 12 months, 8 of which I used…to that I say thank you again. I was in and out in about five minutes, the longest single item of the whole thing was my filling out and signing the checks!
