WYE celebrate? Because it's finished
What to do after completing the largest road construction project in state history? WYE not throw a party?
Thursday, the ITD workers and contractor employees who were involved in all phases of the WYE reconstruction and connector projects since 1999 were thanked at the District 3 office. They were treated to sparkling cider, cake and ample praise for their contributions to Idaho’s largest highway construction project.
The WYE reconstruction was formally dedicated with a ceremony on the west Cole exit ramp on June 11.
Washington Group International, which played a principle engineering role on the project, sponsored another completion ceremony Thursday evening in Boise.
