The Bottom Line

Oktoberfest features food, safety messages

Midway between the barbecues of summer and the gastronomic splurges of Thanksgiving is an ideal time to schedule an interim food fest. The Headquarters employee organization DOROLCO sponsored an Oktoberfest feed this week in conjunction with a safety summit organized by the Office of Employee Safety.

A number of displays provided information on safety-related topics. The Oktoberfest menu featured German, Bratwurst or veggie sausage, condiments, chili, potato chips, pie and a beverage (see photos above).
