Letter from Gov. Dirk Kempthorne

Dear Fellow State Employees,

The dedication and commitment of Idaho’s state employees is a source of great pride to me.

Perhaps the best example of this dedication are the generous contributions our state employees make year after year.

The $360-thousand dollars contributed to our annual giving campaign in 2003 is just one way you have made this investment. I’m confident we will exceed that amount this year.

Once again this fall, state employees have the opportunity to contribute to the annual State
Employees Charitable Giving Campaign.

This year, we’ve improved our online pledge system, reducing administrative costs so more of your contribution goes directly to the charities and their important work.

I encourage all of you to participate in this year’s campaign, “Compassion in Action,” and continue the tradition of state employees making a difference in people’s lives and communities.
