State Comm. coordinator seeks help in finding daughter Kathy Bessey, a supervisor at the State Communications Center in Meridian, requests help from Idaho Transportation Department staff in locating her daughter who has been missing since Oct. 19. Melissa J. Bessey, 16, was last seen with friend Jean Michael Tetrault at about 1:45 p.m. near the Interstate 84 exit near Mountain Home. They were driving a white 2001 Pontiac Grand Am with Idaho license plates. Melissa is bi-polar and takes medication for attention deficit disorder (ADD), according to her mother. The missing teen may display erratic behavior because she hasn't taken the medication since Oct. 18. She has a small scar in the middle of her forehead and a T-shaped scar on the back of her left hand. Kathy serves as ITD's coordinator at the communications center and is instrumental in keeping motorists updated on road report conditions. Anyone with information about the two teens are asked to contact the Elmore County Sheriff's office, 208-587-2100, the Mountain Home City Police, 208-587-2101, the Center for Missing and Exploited Children, 1-800-843-5678, or any law enforcement agency. |
