Contract Administration manual goes digital

Hard copies of Contract Administration Manual (CA) updates will no longer be distributed in paper form, announces Doug Chase, P.E., assistant construction engineer.

CA Manual Update No. 161, dated Oct. 10, is the last one distributed in hard copy. Subsequent updates may be downloaded from the Construction Section home page located on the ITD intranet.

“We will send out notifications whenever a new update is available for downloading,” Chase said. “Intranet updates will start with update number 159.”

”We also encourage employees to ensure that their current hard copy of the CA manual is up to date. Several sections have been updated over the past few years and numerous construction memos have either been generated or deleted.

“Please use the list below to verify your copy is current.”

Anyone who needs an update of sections not contained on the Intranet should contact Fran Hood via e-mail: FranHood@itd.idao.gov.
