Thanks for safer walk

In follow-up to the International Walk to School Day last Wednesday (Oct. 6), I just had to write to let you know how much the students and staff benefited from having you visit our school. Thank you for meeting our students and staff at the Co-op and walking to school with us. Your support and attention was appreciated.

We were extremely happy that someone of your authority chose to walk that long distance, crossing two highways, to walk to school with our students.

What really stuck out in our minds was the extra effort and time you took to fly all the way up from Boise to get to know our students and their walkways. We hope you had an enjoyable time and will consider coming again next year. We appreciate your dedication to making safer walkways and bikeways for Idaho's youth.
