DOROLCO Children’s Christmas Party Committee

It has been my pleasure to serve DOROLCO, my fellow ITD friends and their families for the past 10 years as “Santa.” Where have the years gone?

Anyway, thank you for the opportunity to bring a little happiness into the hearts and minds of all the “little ones” that came to see Santa. It really was a joy to see the children grow up and still come back each year.

I’ll never forget the time when ITD sponsored a “needy” family and went to the wrong house. Santa had to do some fast foot work.

Although I plan to retire from ITD in April of 2005, I plan to be available to serve again if you still need me. It would be great to have another fellow ITD person to take over as “Santa” as I am most willing to share the thrills of this precious event with another dad or granddad.

As we discussed, I will be available to come back next year (and the year after that…) to serve as Santa if you need me. I will be in the area and plan to stay in touch as I hope to be involved in the continuing education program for licensed dealers.

I also want to thank all for the gift certificate to the Lock Stock & Barrel. The thrill of seeing the happiness in the eyes of the children and their families has been my reward over the years. We will be thinking of that and all of you when we enjoy the gift certificate.
