Richardson to assist ITRMC

Mark Richardson has accepted a special work assignment with the Information Technology Resource Management Council (ITRMC), assisting with the implementation of Idaho’s strategic information technology plan.

Richardson will begin working with ITRMC staff in the near future, with office space provided by the Idaho Department of Administration. He will work closely with staff to research and make recommendations on information technology policy and standards to support the strategic direction outlined in the IT Strategic Plan.

His specific expertise will be valuable as ITRMC focuses on the efficient and effective use of the enterprise infrastructure in Idaho.

“We are pleased that ITD can participate in this partnership by making Mark’s experience and knowledge available to ITRMC as it implements a strategic plan for the use of information technology in Idaho,” explains ITD Director Dave Ekern.

“ITD will benefit by having Mark in a unique position to represent the department, and ITRMC will benefit by tapping into Mark’s extensive information technology background.”

With more than 20 years of dedicated service to the Idaho Transportation Department, Richardson will play an important role in shaping the immediate future of Idaho’s information technology.

“His disciplined approach will be valuable as ITRMC continues to implement the council’s vision,” said Sue Simmons, administrator for ITD's Division of Administrative Services.
