ITD claims nine regional AAMVA awards

Not since Titanic captured 11 Oscars in 1998 has an awards ceremony been so dominated.

ITD won 9 of 15 (nearly two-thirds) regional Public Affairs and Consumer Education (PACE) awards announced this week by the American Association of Motor Vehicles Administrators (Region 4).

The Idaho State Police claimed another award.

Winners of the 2005 regional PACE awards were:

  • Externally-produced brochure: “Yes! Idaho,” organ donor brochure
  • Billboard: “Face in the Windshield,” ITD Office of Traffic and Highway Safety
  • Poster: “2004 Highway Safety Kids Calendar,” Office of Traffic and Highway Safety
  • Internally-produced Web site: “Online Audio Driver Manual,” ITD Division of Motor Vehicles
  • Marketing campaign-public relations/advertising firm: “U.S. 95 Thorncreek Road to Moscow” public involvement campaign, ITD Public Affairs
  • Internally-produced brochure: “Taking the Scenic Route”
  • Internal newsletter/newspaper: “The Transporter,” ITD Public Affairs
  • External newsletter/newspaper: “Idaho Dealer News,” ITD Division of Motor Vehicles
