May 2, 2005 I am sending my best wishes to you for Public Service Employees Recognition Week and for State Employee Recognition Day, May 4th, 2004. It is important for all Idaho citizens to recognize the work each of you performs on a daily basis to keep our great state working. Your public service is important to our citizens. Idaho is emerging from these challenging economic times in better shape than anyone could imagine. Your integrity, hard work, and determination are an important part of that recovery. I want to personally thank you for your extraordinary commitment and dedication to the programs and services you provide. Most importantly, I thank you for the impact you have on your fellow citizens of Idaho. It is my honor to recognize you on this special day. Patricia and I send our warmest regards and heartfelt gratitude. With great pride, I have proclaimed May 4th as a special day to honor you. Sincerely, Proclamation Whereas, state employees should be recognized for the outstanding work and invaluable service they give each day in their jobs; and Whereas, state employees make a difference in the well-being and quality of life for all the citizens of Idaho; and Whereas, Idaho’s state employees perform their jobs daily with professionalism and integrity, making government services accessible and responsive to the needs of our citizens; and Whereas, it is appropriate to designate a State Employee Recognition Week to honor and recognize all state employees; and Whereas, Idaho is honored to join other states across the United States during the week of May 2nd through 6th, 2005 to extend our appreciation and gratitude to all state employees for their continued spirit of dedication; NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIRK KEMPTHORNE, Governor of the
