Thanks for helping with FBI investigation

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Idaho Transportation Department on behalf of Unified Command Captain Chaney, Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department and myself for the assistance provided by District 1 ITD during the Groene missing children investigation.

The District 1 office, through the efforts of Ellen Baker and Roberta Marolt, provided the FBI document exploration team the space and resources necessary to catalog and sort a large volume of documents and other evidence recovered in this investigation. Our ultimate goal is the safe return of the missing children, and the efforts by ITD and your employees play a role in this goal.

Please thank those employees and District Engineer Scott Stokes for their assistance. It is truly a pleasure to work with the outstanding employees of the ITD.
