barbecue, safety fair set Wednesday
The safety committee at Headquarters and DOROLCO will join in celebrating the official beginning of summer with a safety fair and feed Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on the East Annex lawn.
DOROLCO will prepare a lunchtime menu of hamburgers or veggie burgers, salads, potato chips, sodas and fresh fruit. The barbecue is free to members of the employee organizations and those who join at the event; cost for non-members is $5.
All persons who plan to dine on the lawn are asked to register their choice of hamburger or veggie burger by the end of today.
To encourage a safe summer, the safety committee has arranged for a number of vendors, including NORCO and the Boise Fire Department, to display equipment and supplies. Employees will be able to order bicycle helmets for pick-up in July.
Volunteers are needed to help serve at the event. Anyone interested in donating some time should contact Trudi at ext. 8277.
