Emergency preparedness guide available

The Idaho Bureau of Homeland Security, which is responsible for coordinating disaster response throughout Idaho, can provide a comprehensive yet easily read publication designed to help citizens prepare for disasters.

The Emergency Preparedness Guide offers suggestions on emergency supplies, planning and specific terrorist threats. It was prepared by the Homeownership Alliance in partnership with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Founding members of the alliance include Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Independent Community Bankers of America, the National Association of Home Builders and the National Association of Realtors.
