She talked about the content of fair credit reports, rights to access information in credit files and methods to dispute information. She also talked about common personal finance mistakes, such as failing to pay off credit card balances monthly, cashing out 401k plans, preparing for unexpected emergencies and the dangers of not carrying life insurance. Lynn Rhodes and Jeanne Purcell of the Division of Motor Vehicles staff discussed drivers license security and measures to prevent identity theft. Drivers license security has far-reaching safety and security impacts, including highway safety, economics, personal/emotional and counterfeiting.
